Angelina Mango is the singer who will represent Italy with La noia at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2024.

Angelina is an Italian singer born in 2001 in the South of Italy. She is a very talented daugher of art: her father Pino Mango, known artistically as Mango, was an amazing singer-songwriter, while her mother Laura Valente is also a singer, known mostly because she was sang in the Matia Bazar band.

Thanks to this, Angelina and her brother Filippo grew up surrounded by music: she wrote her first song when she was only 5 years old! Filippo became a drummer and together they started a cover band in their region, Basilicata. Unfortunately, in 2014 her father died. His fans and all of Italy was shocked for the news, so imagine his family...

In 2016 she moved to Milan with her mother and brother. She kept singing, writing and releasing songs independently until she signed a contract with Sony Music Italy. After that, she kept releasing music and took part to music contests. In 2022 she performed at the Concerto del Primo Maggio, one of the biggest festivals in Italy and, a couple of months later, she was called by Amici di Maria De Filippi, one of the most followed talent shows of the country. She won the singers category and arrived second after a dancer.

Summer 2023 was full of achievements, prizes and concerts. In February 2024 she

participated in the 74th Sanremo Festival, ranking first with her song La noia.

Precisely La noia is Italy's entry for the Eurovision song contest 2024. Italy is finally represented by a woman again: the last one was Francesca Michielin in 2016.
