Lucio Corsi is one of the most interesting voices in contemporary Italian singer-songwriters, able to blend his love for rock with an intense poetic vein. Although he exploded into the mainstream thanks to his participation in Sanremo, his career boasts years of music and artistic research that have made him a revelation to the public.

Now, after the success at Sanremo, the Italian singer-songwriter will have the opportunity to approach an even wider and more diverse audience as Italy's representative at the Eurovision, which will be held in Basel on May 13th, 15th, and 17th.

The Art of Being Tough

Volevo essere un duro has won many over with its universal theme: the struggle between the image we want to project and our inner fragility. In the song, Lucio talks about the social pressure to be strong, tough, capable of facing everything without ever giving up. But at the same time, there’s a call to human vulnerability, that hidden side that often stays silent but makes us authentic. The lyrics, with their raw yet reflective poetic nature, invite a deep reflection on how we perceive ourselves and how we are perceived.

Who is Lucio Corsi?

Lucio Corsi was born in 1993 in Grosseto, in the heart of Tuscany’s Maremma, to which he remains deeply attached despite moving to Milan after high school to pursue his dream of making music. His official musical debut came in 2015 with the release of Altalena Boy / Vetulonia Dakar, which already hinted at his original stylistic signature, suspended between singer-songwriter and rock. He continued in 2017 with Bestiario musicale, followed by Cosa faremo da grandi? (2020) and La gente che sogna (2023).His eclectic personality and talent have allowed him to establish himself not only in the music scene but also in the fashion world, where in 2017 he walked for Gucci by Alessandro Michele and on TV, making an appearance in “Vita da Carlo 3”, the television series by Carlo Verdone.

His pre-Sanremo experience is rich in musical experiments and a vast selection of tracks that have helped him build a loyal and passionate following. Lucio’s style stands out for its versatility, a quality that makes him a truly unique artist thanks to his innate ability to move from pop to rock, passing through classic singer-songwriter styles. He is able to blend different influences while maintaining a strong stylistic consistency, favoring an approach to music that is intellectually stimulating and deep.

Lucio is not afraid to be vulnerable, to showcase his most intimate emotions, and to convey an emotional intelligence that seems increasingly rare in the entertainment world. In an industry often dominated by appearance, he represents a return to substance, making sincerity and depth his winning cards, and this makes him an artist capable of touching the intimacy of his listeners.

The tour

After the success of Volevo essere un duro, Corsi announced a tour with numerous sold-out dates, confirming not only the quality of his music but also his special connection with the audience. His ability to emotionally connect with listeners is, in fact, one of his most appreciated traits.

The concerts will hit several Italian cities. On April 13th, the singer-songwriter will be in Bologna, followed by a performance in Venaria Reale on April 15th. On April 16th, the tour will move to Florence, then continue on April 18th in Rome. On April 23rd, it will be Naples’ turn, while Corsi will be in Padua on April 28th. Finally, on April 29th, the artist will perform in Milan. Given the immediate sell-out, Corsi also announced summer dates. Indeed, on June 21, the artist will take the stage at Rock in Roma and then perform on September 7th at the Ippodromo Snai San Siro in Milan.
