Who is Mabel, the singer of Stupid Dumb?
Mabel Alabama Pearl McVey was born in Málaga in 1996. She grew up in a musical environment thanks to her mother, singer Neneh Cherry, and her father, producer Cameron McVey. When she was 18 she began to lay the foundations for her music career in London which led her to open for Harry Styles during his 2018 tour.
With her extraordinary style and talent, Mabel released her album High Expectations in 2019 which contains the two tracks that brought her worldwide success: Don’t Call Me Up and Mad Love. With her second album About Last Night..., we see Mabel becoming basically a pop artist, consolidating her music career and confirming her rise to become a superstar.
Now we just have to wait for her new album which is being anticipated by Stupid Dumb, so we already have a little preview of the sound that will surround it.
