Vale Lp and Lil Jolie – Quando sei pronto per fare l’amore
This song mixes contemporary pop and urban elements and offers a captivating rhythm and a sensual atmosphere. The lyrics talk about wait and uncertainty in a relationship, the song is unveiled and direct. The two artist play a duet creating a dialogue full of desire and weakness at the same time.
Alex Wyse – Rockstar
This track is biting and modern. The lyrics talk about the dream of becoming a “rockstar” as a metaphor for following your goals, but it also highlights the darkness that hides behind this desire, between insecurities and sacrifices. Alex's vocal performance is powerful and manages to convey the rebellion and the introspection to the audience.
Settembre – Vertebre
Vertebre is a song that uses the image of the spinal column as a symbolic metaphor for human vulnerability. The piece, characterised by a delicate energy, mixes the sound of the acoustic instruments and the electric sound. Settembre's voice manages to fully represent the deep sentiment of the song.
Maria Tomba – Goodbye
The piece combines the pop sound with an indie and electric touch creating a very gothic effect. The lyrics talk about the difficulty of letting go of someone for your own well-being. The song can be summarised by its chorus: "Guardami negli occhi e non le poppe... oppure goodbye!" (which can be translated as: "Look into my eyes and not at my boobs... otherwise, goodbye!").
