You Ain’t The Only One: the new single by Mary J. Blige

Mary J. Blige

Mary J. Blige, the R&B legend returns with the uplifting You Ain’t The Only One, the second new single from the highly anticipated album Gratitude, set to be released on November 15.

An invitation to remember that we are not alone

With a production team that includes Kelly, Velasquez, Will Campbell and Aidan Brody, blending hip hop and soul with a healthy dose of funk rhythms, Mary J. Blige, through her lyrics written alongside Pat Kelly, Angelo “Doc” Velasquez and Jezus Rose, tells us about the many ups and downs of life, reminding us to keep our spirits high. In moments when it feels like the world is crashing down, it’s important to remember that we are not alone. The artist emphasizes how crucial it is to move forward despite everything, always keeping our goals in mind while also valuing the celebration of milestones we achieve day by day.

This is one of the tracks on the upcoming album Gratitude, which will be released on November 15. It follows Good Morning Gorgeous, released in 2022, which earned Blige her first Grammy nomination for Album of The Year at the 2023 Grammy Awards. However, the singer has stated that this will "probably" be her last album. Whether it is or not, what we know for sure is that Mary J. Blige undoubtedly ranks among the best R&B artists in the scene. In the meantime, Blige continues to delight her fans: starting in January 2025, she will be seen on her For My Fans Tour alongside Ne-Yo and Mario.
